ABOUT THE DESIGN
The ‘Mirror mirror…’ design is an interpretation of body dysmorphic disorder in which an aspect of one’s physical appearance can be given inordinate importance or attention. The shame and fear that one might associate with this body part can severely impact their daily life and health. The front design is meant to express the power of our own perceptions, in this case through reflections, and how one can become trapped within them. The back design represents freeing ourselves from those perceptions.
